You may already have one in your home. Its name may be different. I have one in my kitchen it is a jar opener. It is very much a strap wrench even though there is no strap. The straps, in this case, are part of the “handle” the material used to coat the handle provides the grip. The handles are specially formed for two sizes of jars or bottles. The two handles squeeze the bottle or jar lid and with a simple twist will get the jar or bottle open in no time.
How To Use It
Using a strap wrench is pretty easy. But you must be aware that the tool will only tighten in one direction. Put the tool on the object in the wrong direction and it will slip with the best of them. Check the tool for a directional arrow. The arrow will indicate the direction it will tighten. No matter which version you land up buying you will need to read the user instructions in order to get the best results from the tool.
