The Park, Sleep, Cruise experience

The park, sleep cruise experience is one that any traveler really needs to make the travel day a great experience. Any time spent getting to the cruise ship is filled in worry. You have to get up really early to catch a cruise ship unless you happen to live in the city the cruise ship departs. There is always the worry about traffic, will there be a situation that causes your path to the ship to come to a crawl.

The next thing that comes up is where will you park your vehicle? Unless you live in the city where you are going to catch the cruise ship and can take a cab to the ship this becomes a big concern. Long-term parking, is it safe, is it close by, how will I get all these bags to the ship after I park? All these concerns can add a really large amount of stress to the cruise experience.

How it works

• The day prior to your cruise ship’s departure you drive to a hotel.
• Inform the hotel that you are doing the park, sleep, cruise thing.
• You hand your car keys to the hotel staff where it is safely parked in long-term parking for your cruise.
• Your baggage stays with you at the hotel.
• The hotel will know when you need to depart the hotel(just ask them) to get you and your family to the cruise ship with plenty of time to spare.
• The hotel will supply you with a phone number(put it in your cell phone so it doesn’t get lost) for you to call to get the hotel shuttle to pick you up when your ship returns.
• You spend the night at the hotel. The next morning you board a hotel shuttle.  You, your family, and luggage are whisked away to your cruise ship.
• The hotel shuttle driver will know where to take you and your family to catch the ship.
• The driver will knows where your luggage needs to be to get it on the ship.
• On your return from the cruise, you call for the shuttle.
• The driver for the hotel shuttle picks up your family and luggage and takes you back to your vehicle.
