Five frugal hacks for your life
1. Spin the bottle to get the last out of the bottle.
2. Boil water in the microwave to clean it.
3. Key fob to the face to increase distance.
4. Tie your electrical cords together to keep them from unplugging.
5. Using soap bars down to the last itty bitty part.
Really Use Up That Ketchup
Spinning the bottle to get the last little bit out of the ketchup or mustard bottle is the easiest tip to execute if you have the room. Don’t have the room? Here’s how to do it in the least amount of space. You don’t need to spin the bottle in a whole circle. Start at the top of the circle and move it to the bottom of the circle. This movement will give you enough centrifugal force to get the job done and use up that ketchup or mustard.
Cleaning Hacks
Cleaning the microwave oven is an easy no-brainer. Need some coffee, have some instant coffee, great! Fill a medium microwave-safe glass bowl halfway with water. Put it in the microwave for 5-6 minutes on high or full power. Prepare your coffee cup with the instant coffee and sugar or sweetener. When the water is done pour your water in the coffee cup and grab a sponge and wipe out the microwave while your coffee steeps. Two minutes later your microwave is clean and your coffee is ready. Enjoy saving money by cleaning and making coffee at the same time.
Get More From Your Car Remote
I started using the keyfob remote lock device distance enhancing tip after seeing it on an Episode of NCIS. It really works. In my case, I am able to double the distance the remote will unlock the car. It’s pretty simple. Just take the remote and place it under your chin pointed towards your open mouth. You, of course, need to be facing toward the car and press the button. Try this out in a parking lot. Use your remote to lock and unlock the vehicle normally while walking away. When it stops working that’s the range limit of the remote. Now try it again using it against your chin(remember to face the car) and continue walking away until it will no longer work. This the additional distance you can get from using this great tip. This tip lets you use up that battery way past the normal failure distance.

Get More From Your Time
Tie your electrical cords together to prevent them unplugging. Boy, this is one that I learned early in life. I like electric tools. No problems, unlike gas. Just plug them in, use them, unplug them, put them away until needed again. But there is one problem the cords can become unplugged accidentally. So it’s a simple thing to tie a knot in the two cords to keep them from coming unplugged by accident. A simple overhand knot will do the job and keep you from wasting your time walking back to plug in your cords.

Frugal Living Get More From Your Bar Soap
Using bar soap to the last itty bitty sliver is just plain frugal, right up my alley. The secret to being able to do this is knowing that one bar soap will stick to another bar once it gets wet. Take a new bar of soap, wet it, and put it into a soap dish like the one on the right or a regular dish. Let it sit in the soap dish for a few minutes until it slightly softens on the side contacting the dish. So just take that old sliver of a soap bar and wet it and a new bar of soap and stick the two wet sides together. Press them together to get good contact. Allow the two soaps to dry and you will have one bar of soap when done, ready to be used when needed. In no time you’ll be using 99.9% of all the soap bars you buy.
